Nice job with the slide deck. I’ve been doodling on paper for the past few days trying to determine how I really want to visualize my PLE (or PLN, or both!). It’s not easy to make a linear representation of something that is so very non-linear.
The other hard part (so far, I’m sure there will be more) is in expressing the value of the PLE. I can say things like “I’ve learned more from this than from any school program, ever!” until I’m blue in the face, but that’s still just anecdotal, and probably smells way too much like B.S.
So, I continue to try to refine my thinking about this. In the meantime, six people in my network put out something describing their PLE and then I feel like all I’m doing is copying them. It’s becoming harder and harder to be original, or so it seems.

I know what you mean Barry. You should have seen the slides on the cutting room floor! I worked on this the better part of two weeks trying to refine my message. Feel pretty good with what I ended up with, even if it is not pretty!
